The layers are still producing 13-18 eggs daily, even though it's molting season. We have a nice variety of sizes ranging from medium to extra large, light brown to darker brown, and a few green and blue eggs. The different color shells make a pretty presentation in the cartons, but the insides are all the same. The ducks are also still laying. Duck eggs are desired for baking, as they have a higher fat and protein content than chicken eggs, making richer and moister baked goods. Our little flock is happy and healthy, and very friendly and social.

Looks great!
